Four years ago a little three-word phrase made its way into all of Rotherham fans’ vocabulary after Alex Revell’s heroics at Wembley.
‘Ambitious but brilliant’, the line used by Sky Sports commentator Daniel Mann, was widely quoted as the Millers lapped up their promotion glory.
And with Paul Warne’s men repeating the trick in 2018, there’s a new soundbite in town, again delivered by Mann after Richard Wood’s winning goal in the second half of extra-time.
Goosebumps at the ready….
“Wood’s got round the back and Richard Wood has done it again. The Magic Man has come up with another trick. Frozen out by managers in the past, Richard Wood is becoming a Rotherham United legend.”
WATCH: Richard Wood scores his second. Could this be the game-winner for Rotherham?
