Rotherham boss Paul Warne is not fussed by missing out on signing Matt Done.
The Millers made the Sheffield United winger an offer earlier in the summer but did not hear back and he instead joined League One rivals Rochdale on Thursday, signing up for a third spell at Spotland.
While waiting for an answer, Warne continued his summer business, adding Ryan Williams and Kieffer Moore to his attacking options and filling the spot in his squad that was earmarked for Done.
Warne said: “I met Matty a few months ago, I had a chat with him, told him how I wanted to play and what I expect.
DONE deal! We are absolutely delighted to announce the return of Matt Done on a two-year deal!

“I know he was coming to an agreement with Sheffield United but if I was honest there is no need now, I have filled that spot.
“I left that with him because I used to hate it when managers used to pester me all the time.
“I told him to phone me back and he hasn’t and that’s fine, I am not offended by that, he’s a Manchester lad, he is going to go that way. I always thought that. There is no point chasing him down.”
