Paul Warne says Rotherham are close to making their first two summer signings.
The Millers have yet to add to their squad following their promotion back to the Championship, though Warne has said he will not bring a vast number to the club.
He aims to bring four or five in before the squad head to Austria for their pre-season camp in a couple of weeks.
And two of those are imminent according to Warne, though he is determined to keep their identity under wraps.
“Our first two signings are pretty close,” he said.
“I am trying to get four or five before we start back and we start back next Monday.
“I am trying to keep it under the radar because more often than not ours get leaked out. I am trying to keep shtum.”
Warne has also revealed he has met three targets over the last couple of weeks, one of which played against the Millers last season.
Scunthorpe’s Duane Holmes and Murray Wallace have been linked with moves to the AESSEAL New York Stadium, though the latter has since joined Millwall.
